The Executive Director (ED) is hired by The Samaritan Counseling Center Board of Directors
(BOD) and reports to the board. The ED is responsible for the overall leadership and operations
of the Center. This includes counseling services, administrative services, marketing, and public
relations. The Executive Director also personally provides counseling and therapy at the Samaritan
Counseling Center for a pre-determined number of sessions per week.

Required Qualifications:

● Current behavioral health license in the state of Michigan
● Effective organizational, management and leadership skills
● Effective communication skills

Preferred Qualifications:

● Knowledge and experience in the management of a nonprofit organization
● 3-5 years of recent clinical experience
● Experience with fundraising
